Carlos leads BlueBull's strategic projects and the Group's operations. He previously worked at Paack, where he contributed to the development of one of the most promising startups in the Spanish ecosystem. He also has extensive experience in strategic consulting in large firms such as KPMG and Banco Santander.
Juanjo Ballester
Head of Finance
With more than a decade working in financial management for multinational companies in different sectors, Juanjo is responsible for looking after and optimising BlueBull's finances. Previously he worked as a financial auditor at EY and held positions as Controller and Reporting Manager at Smurfit Kappa and Valencia CF.
Miguel Ángel Díaz
Head of People and Culture
Miguel Ángel is responsible for the design of corporate culture, talent management and training experiences. He has extensive experience helping to create stimulating work environments in almost a hundred companies and helping a multitude of professional profiles to achieve the best version of themselves.
Borja Afán de Ribera
Talent Acquisition Manager
Borja has worked as a generalist M&A Associate at EY and at Asta Capital during the acquisition process of its investee. Since 2019, he has been developing his career in the headhunting sector focused on professional services and private equity at firms such as Robert Walters and Transearch.
Paula Tamarit
Corporate Development & Brand Manager
Paula is responsible for corporate development and the BlueBull brand. She executes the communication and marketing strategy, as well as managing external and group events. Before joining Bluebull, Paula worked as a Brand Manager in the cosmetics industry.
Sofía Ricarte
R&D Manager
Sofia has more than 8 years of experience, working in the integral management of R&D projects through public funding, in addition to the identification and integral management of R&D in companies of all fields. Before joining the team, she developed her career in companies such as ITENE, FIBHULP and FI Group.
Patricia González
Graphic Designer
Patricia is responsible for the design and development of BlueBull's visual identity. Previously she has worked in the field of corporate image, branding, advertising, and web design, in advertising agencies and media. In addition, she was Lead Designer at BOD Universal Bank for more than 10 years.
Ángela Pinilla
Office Manager Madrid
Angela has a track record as Office Manager and EA in Private Equity Funds for 8+ years. Experience in Office Operations, Facilities Management, Procurement, Project coordination, Travel and Calendar management, among others, which allows her to support the team efficiently and keep the office running smooth.
David Castany
Investment Director
David has more than 10 years of experience in the finance sector. He started his career at Deloitte as audit analyst (Barcelona office), then joined M&A team at BBVA (Madrid and Mexico City offices). Before joining BlueBull, he was at Galdana Ventures (part of AltamarCAM Partners), where he was leading venture capital investment activity in Europe. David holds a degree in Business Administration from ESADE Business School.

R&D Consultant
Laura is part of the Public Grants team, where she specializes in the comprehensive management of Research and Development (R&D) projects funded by public financing. Additionally, she is responsible for identifying and managing R&D projects across various sectors. With over two years of consulting experience, she has developed her professional career at FiGroup.
Roberto Strazzeri

Roberto holds a MSc in Finance from ESADE Business School. He previously worked at GP Bullhound in London, focusing on SPAC and Investment Banking covering software and digital services firms.
